Three out of four adults need to have their teeth straightened. However, many adults don’t want to wear braces because they’re embarrassed to be seen in public with metal on their teeth. Getting Invisalign is a great alternative to traditional braces. The Invisalign System is a comfortable and virtually invisible treatment to effectively straighten your teeth.
The aligners are invisible, which means that you can get the beautiful smile that you’ve always wanted without anyone knowing that you’re wearing an orthodontic device. Invisalign aligners look like clear retainers, teeth-whitening trays, or gum shields. Invisalign is used for a wide range of orthodontic problems including overbites, underbites, crowding, spacing, and a more open or deeper bite than average. Invisalign aligners are designed according to customer’s set of teeth which will straighten over time.
Invisalign Vs Traditional Braces
Braces can be a hassle because they are fixed and cannot be removed. This makes it difficult to eat certain types of food as it’s impossible to avoid getting food trapped in them, making you feel as though you can never get your teeth clean. With Invisalign, you can remove them before eating/drinking and easily brush and floss to maintain good oral hygiene. Braces require brackets and wires which can poke and irritate your mouth causing ulcers. Invisalign aligners are made up of plastic material which is nearly invisible. Many people can feel pain each time while adjusting braces. With Invisalign aligners people may feel pressure on the teeth in the early stages.
